to find new ways of performing electronic music, crossperformer is a hardwareconzept for a multifunctional midicontroler, stepsequenzer and studiomixer in one device. the main part was the visual conzept, that enables more intuitive ways of composing and improvisation. how can i make musicstructure visible? what happens, when i translate music from a liniar (how most programs are constructed) to a 2-D or a 3-D way? how dimensional is music?
